Underground Boring Specialties started out in 1992 in South Dakota, making many county and state highway crossings to develop a 117 mile rural water system with a P80 Ditch Witch . In November 1995 we received a 50,000# American Auger directional rig and followed that up in June of 1996 with a 16,000# Bor Mor directional rig. We have used these rigs on millions of feet of pipeline and fiber optic cable installations. We have drilled holes and completed bores from 1" to 36" in width and lengths of up to 1600' long crossing roads, streams and rivers from the central states to the west coast.
